Watermelon season is upon us, nothing beats a nice cold watermelon on a hot day. Today, I decided to mix up some rum and juice with this watermelon and make this yummy Watermelon Rum cocktail.
First, cube and puree the watermelon. The handy cuisinart wedding gift came in quite handy.
Make sure to strain the puree, you want to get all the pulp and seeds out, so all that your left with is the sweet juice of the melon. I would say I yielded about 4 cups of juice.
put into a pitcher with ice and enjoy! Wes loved it! I can't wait now to have a summer party and make this for all my friends!
