#Chuckster and Things

I know that Charlotte already had turned one, and that her birthday was over a month ago,, I realize the first part of this post may seem like deja vu as well. but  I'm now just getting a moment to update the Bloggity Blog with her fun pics that Amanda Hendrickson took for us.  Wesley tells me that birthdays 2-5 will cost $25 or less....ummm we will see about that.

Though it rained and was only 2 degrees outside, the turnout was great and I am glad I hired Danielle from Fantastic Face Painting to paint the kiddos faces, it was fun for them and entertainment for all.

Charlotte wasn't a cake smasher, I knew she wouldn't be so thats why i bought a cheap cake mix and cheap frosting for the photo op.

My mother in law made these delicioso cupcakes, and I found the fun flamingo picks on Amazon.

If you go to my Tinylimes.com website, you will see a list of all the etsy vendors I used for the decorations.
How cute is that little cake topper!!!
See...not a smasher...maybe not even a picker. She hated it, really.

My mom had to make sure Charlotte had a picture with a hundred dolla bill, yo. Typical mom.

So because I never had grandparents on my side of the family, I love having Ken and Fran in our iives and they are just like grandparents to Charlotte. We adore the Fish family so much, they truly are amazing people!

You don't realize how much a baby changes in a year til you see the photos. My little Chuckster is such a blessing to us, a miracle and a funny human being. She keeps me on my toes now and has learned to tantrum, so that's pretty fun. But she is so snuggly and loving. She knows how to point her finger up when you ask her how old she is , "one" she points and then gets all excited and does it again.

Her party was actually her Birthday Eve, On her actual birthday I made her pancakes

She can't say words yet except daddy and mama, and ucky which means ducky. However, she points to whatever it is she wants and that is amazing to me.

and then the day after her Birthday, I had a segment on Fresh Living reviewing her birthday...haha, so not a busy Birthday at all. But I did the segment to really showcase our Local Etsy shops for decorations and such. I have my own etsy shop so it's always been fun to support one another.

I was pretty firm that she would be our only child, and I have softened up a bit. And by softened I mean, I took my IUD out and am giving us a small window to try for a second. we have till the end of the year. I know Charlotte was hard for us to conceive but I have to face reality, and my reality is that I am probably not ready for a second child just yet. But I don't want to close all the doors  either...It would be fun to have another mini me one day

Charlotte also got her first hair cut

Unless I put her in all pink, a bow or pig tails, she will get mistaken for  a boy every time.

We started swim lessons for her and she loves it...loves the water and watching all the kids.

and this is fun Daddy Daughter time too, Wes loves his time with her.

and sometimes mom gets a little time too ;)

Gosh, it seems like June went by super fast too! We started the month off with a fun Barbecue at some friends and where we all noticed the adults were outnumbered by kids. I think I said this already, but I feel so lucky to be around such a fun and supportive group of friends, to evolve and experience stages of life together. Our kids are everything and I love seeing all of them together!

I Know its not a secret that I have the coolest book club ever, this month we did Yoga in the park followed by a fun dinner at the Dodo. I love my time with these girls! We don't even read anymore, we get together for fun activities and have so much fun!

What else happened in June? Oh I had my first wedding of the season , she was the easiest Bride ever to work with, seriously. I loved all my weddings but this one was really laid back cause she just went with all my recommendations...and wouldn't you know..the day turned out amazing!

I also had another segment on Fresh Living on Outdoor entertaining tips. and I am a little bummed cause I had put together a shoot to highlight some of the items and tips I was talking about and the station didn't even post them. SO much work and time went into it, and my friend Amanda Dewolf did such an amazing job. But , I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet cause there are some national sites that may have it featured so I don't want to ruin anything.

The segment was the longest one I've had, it was 6 minutes long. but for 2 of those I wasn't even talking, just holding food. I incorporated alot of the businesses I had at my Wedding Workshop and I think they appreciated it. I love working and knowing great people around the City!

I will be on again the end of July with Amanda Hendrickson...we will be launching her new site and doing some fun things with weathered wood and old barn wood, so stay tuned for that!

Some of you have seen that I have started the 21 Day Fix program, its a beach body program. I post all my recipes and updates on my company website though. but so far so good!

We've had cheat days, but Wes and I are on a steady weight loss and it's the best way to do it. We call it our Sexy in Mexi plan cause we will be there mid october with some friends. a whole week with no baby. Im nervous and excited at the same time.

I have some big projects in the works but I can't really say too much about them. I have been fortunate to come across my "OPRAH" and i'll expand on that in a later post...

So i leave you with this gem of a pic of our darling #chuckster, i title this Piggy's and Jelly's
