Burp Cloths for Baby Johnson

Last week Miss Cassie J came over and I taught her the wonder of my awesome sewing machine, the machine in which I have used maybe 10 times since i've owned it for 7 years!

Although it was all straight lines, these burp cloths were so fun and adorable to make! we made them 12" x 18" ( give or take a few centimeters depending on my awesome cutting and lack of measuring skills)

 It didn't take her very long to get the hang of it

 I love the fabric she chose! so adorable!!! we did flannel as our absorbent side- there is a ton of pinterest ones out there that use fancy chenille, or towels...pfft- flannel works just fine!

 Cassie even did the 1/4" finishing edges, now they look professional!

 This is a great starter set of burp cloths! I can't wait to make some for my own babies one day.

Speaking of own babies..we were unsuccessful this month with our treatment. So, round two of Clomid. Cross your fingers,send us good baby vibes..whatever ya got! He see's how hard I struggle to get through the emotions of it all and manages to lift my spirits.
